We have had two wonderful experiences shooting with Richard, and on one occasion he was assisted by his girlfriend Anett. Both are extremely personable, friendly and professional. We instantly felt at ease, and they were extremely good at making us feel comfortable and natural for the shots. 

Our first experience with Richard was our maternity shoot, which we asked to do in various locations. The shoot was long, but so much fun. The shots came out beautifully and Richard is superb at editing the shots. His are not the typical portrait shots, his style is highly artistic, and unique. However, we have found that he is highly versatile, and he can tailor make the shoot to one's liking. This was a big bonus for us. He was extremely flexible, and not to mention reasonablely priced! 

We enjoyed the shoot so much that we considered flying him from Spain to Denmark to shoot our newborn. Logistically it did not work out, but we were excited to get to shoot with him again over this last holiday in Spain. He shot not only my husband and I, but also our 6 month old daughter. He was wonderful with her, and she had a blast shooting. We chose to do a studio shoot the second time around, and the shots far exceeded our expectations. He was so open to suggestions, willing to try different things, and yet phenomenal at giving ideas and instructions. He knows what he is going for, and further, he knows how to edit the shot after the fact to create the most amazingly beautiful photos. We had so many we loved that we simply did not know which to choose... and that was also a big plus, he did not make us choose... he provided us with all the digital images included in the price of the shoot. 

Some final thoughts... Richard was also willing to go back and edit shots that he did not necessarily choose in his first round of edits, but that we liked. He is extremely accommodating and one can see how much he really loves what he does. His passion really shines through, and it is clear that he does not feel comfortable providing a final product that is substandard, thus he focuses on all the details, and in the end, one receives a portfolio of perfection. We will hands down shoot again with Richard (and Anett). We can highly recommend Richard Hall Photography!
